“Tweeting”, once an unknown concept is now considered normal speech used in day-to-day language mainly amongst teenagers in school but this term has now invaded the business world and is taking it by storm. Don’t assume that Twitter is only for kids that find the need to discuss their every move with their peers, talk about their love life, teachers and parents. This is a mistake the majority make as there is more to this valuable tool than meets the eye.
As you move forward with this venture you will eventually arrive at this point where you really need to sit down and consider the possible costs you are going to incur before you’ve even started. The beauty of being an Administrative Consultant is that the start up costs are relatively low in comparison to other business. Your basic equipment would be your computer and an excellent internet connection but there is more to the business than meets the eye so we can look at a few points to mull over.
So you’ve checked out the competition and determined who your target clients are (local or virtual), so the next few tasks require action on your part. It’s time to put your money where your mouth is and get this show on the road so to speak! Success or failure depend on your next steps and many who have tried to make it as virtual assistants found that this was the part that let them down as they were not prepared enough.

To all those who follow this blog, it has been a while since I last posted so I apologize for that. In Spain where I live, it has been hectic since May, what with personal tax returns, corporate taxes, annual accounts and the such due. Aside from that I’ve had exams, exams and more exams so I’ve had to study, study, study…!!!
